Customer Reviews

"Good reastaurant with 47 years of experience. Local place with loyal people. We like food and drinks. Worked very welcoming. I will definitely recommend."

"They put a lava cake on our check that we did not order or receive. I'll bet they have great lava cake, they don't want to share it. What's up with that we had no dessert. 75.00 $was the price of the meal for two people and we gave a $25 tip. Where's my lava cake that I paid for but did not receive. I hope it was good $8 lava cake. We didn't notice until we are almost home 2 hour trip."

"Pleasant little bar with a very nice bartender. While our experience was somewhat marred by the extremely loud goateed patron talking about every topic, the bartender was very attentive. The prices were fair....especially since the prices for everything else in Ludlow are inflated"

- Ides B.

"We enjoyed our steaks. They came with salad, bread, and a side (I got a baked potato and my date had the fries). The food is great. The atmosphere is good but it doesn't really match the 5 star vide the restaurant is going for. It's got charm though. The service was okay. *DEFINITELY* not 5 star service. When you Google the restaurant, that's the first thing you see is them touting their five star restaurant. If that's the case, the service needs to come up a couple stars. Specifically, don't play favorites with the locals, standing next to our table, smiling and chatting up a local for 5 minutes at a time and then coming over with no smile and being monosyllabic. It felt like it was a bother to serve us (same thing happened two years ago when we were here). If you're going to serve in a tourist town, maybe pretend to be nice to the tourists?"

"We went last night for the first time after making reservations over the phone. The food was good, and portions were huge. Jess was our waitress and she was attentive, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Drinks were brought out within minutes of ordering, as well as the food. The restaurant is a lot larger inside than you realize, and I was surprised by how busy it was. My only minor complaint is that the men's bathroom is too small, and doesn't have enough urinals for the size of the restaurant. There is one small urinal and one stall, so you need to awkwardly wait in the middle of a busy hallway to for someone to exit. Overall it a great experience, and we will return."

"Went for dinner with my husband. The chicken cordon bleu was amazing! The cream sauce it came in absolutely made the dish. My husband got the strip steak and it was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend!"

"It's our first time at DJ's and our server Jenna did an awesome job in terms of accommodations, hospitality, etc. Hope all servers are like her and many would look forward to going back again for sure. She made it worth the wait and of course the dishes served were exceedingly scrumptious, healthy, and palatable. There's a wide variety to choose from. Go give it a try and you will not regret it. "
